Jacksonville University’s award-winning Communication Department is proud to offer a Signature Summer Program in 索伦托, Italy. This culturally rich program is designed to spark creativity through the use of strategic social media, 数字 video storytelling, 和 多媒体 content creation. 

Partnering with the 圣安娜 Institute, on the majestic cliffs of 索伦托, Italy, this program is offered exclusively 在夏季 2024.

The five- week program includes 课程work with cultural excursions 和 guided field experiences on location in 索伦托, Italy 和 the Naples region of Southern Italy. Students will examine, explore, 和 experience the Amalfi Coast while actively learning the art 和 craft of strategic social media, effective storytelling, 和 多媒体 content creation. Students will produce factual news 和 social media stories featuring everyday life 和 cultural experiences distinct to this Mediterranean region. 

This program is designed for undergraduate 学生 seeking to enhance their strategic social media 和 communication skills while experiencing the Italian culture through active engagement, experiential learning, 和 studying abroad. Students can use this 课程，通讯452 as a general elective, to satisfy the EL graduation requirement, 和 count the 课程 向 Strategic Social Media Minor or 证书. This 课程 can also be counted as fulfilling the IS core requirement or an upper level communications 课程 向 Communication Major or Minor.
